Sarah Lipton Sidibeh


Sarah Lipton Sidibeh, BA Honours, LLCM, FRSA, was born in London, England.

She has written three collections of short stories:  A JOURNEY INTO FEAR AND FANTASY, PSYCHOLOGICAL TALES and CROSSING TIME. 
 
She has written three volumes of poetry:  THE FIRST COLLECTION, THE SEASONS, NATURE AND THE ENVIRONMENT and POEMS:  SOCIAL, SATIRICAL AND POLITICAL.
 
Some of her short stories were broadcast on LBC RADIO in the 1980s.  Also, she has broadcast a selection of her writing on RESONANCE FM.  She has done recordings of some of her stories and poetry for LOCAL TALKING NEWSPAPERS, a charity that provides audio books for blind and partially sighted people.
 
Sarah's poetry has been published in eighteen poetry anthologies.  Her poem, STAGNATION, was shortlisted in THE NATIONAL POETRY ANTHOLOGY COMPETITION in 2005.  It was regarded as one of the best entries of the year.
 
Her poem, WISHFUL THINKING, was selected by the charity POEMS IN THE WAITING ROOM to be printed on one of its cards; these cards are distributed to thousands of doctors' surgeries throughout Britain.
 
In the 1990s, Sarah was awarded numerous certificates for her poetry from THE RICHMOND MUSIC FESTIVAL.  Also, she received a POETRY SOCIETY accolade for a number of her poems.
 
Sarah has written a children's book entitled THE SPELL, film scripts and song lyrics.  She has devised game shows too.  She has written a play called REVENGE which she hopes will be staged within the next two years.  She has written educational textbooks too.
 
Sarah is completing her first novel, 14 BENSHAM GROVE.
 


A JOURNEY INTO FEAR AND FANTASY and THE FIRST COLLECTION will be published in Autumn 2011.

 The non-fiction will be published by ZIG-ZAG EDUCATION.
